The heart of the Musical Box Society International is its chapters
This is where the goals of MBSI are accomplished by dedicated members.
The MBSI has 11 local chapters in the U.S. and one in Japan. In addition to facilitating interaction between members about restoration, maintenance, buying and selling, etc., most of the chapters engage in some kind of outreach activity.
The task of selecting meeting sites, arranging hotel accommodations, bus trips, coordinating collections to visit, workshops and lectures to attend is a time consuming effort, all arranged by MBSI volunteers.
